BR2-5 : The Story of Ships

Thousands of years ago, there were no ships or boats.(p.3)


     Now, we can cross rivers and seas. Long long times ago, there were no ships, of cause boats. People could not cross rivers so noticed logs that floated on water. But it was not good idea, because it was difficult to balance on it. Some people tied logs together to make a raft but they were hard to move along. They found many ideas and tried. The first great sailors lived on islands in the South Pacific. There were many kind of shape, Egyptians ship, Greeks ship, Romans ship and Chinese ship. chinese sailors invented the compass, it was amazing!
About 10 years ago, my family lived in Nagasaki. We often visited my grandfather and grandmother's house. So we often took a ship, needed it. Now, we can't live without ships. We need ships in our life. We have to thank them who developed ships.

BR2-4 : A Little Princess

A young girl stared out from a cab at the foggy London streets.(p.3)

     Sara and her father come school for young ladies because her father have to go India for his job. Sara's father loves her but he should go without her. A school teacher wanted to get their money, so she said she gave Sara the prettiest bedroom, a pony and carriage and her own maid. After that she spent without her father but she was happy but suddenly she heard her father died. Everything in Sara's life changed. The teacher changed mind because she couldn't get money from Sara's father but she was strong.

 I read this book, I felt that family's love is strong and love makes people storong. Sara didn't cry she always be kind and smile, she was like a real princess. Sometimes people have big problem in own life but I want to keep smile and don't give up.

I knew this story because this story was famous and recentry it broadcast on TV. So, I try to read it.

W5 : My favorite instrument

     My favorite instrument is Alto saxophone. Sound of saxophone is cool, sexy and beautiful. When I was 13 years old, I played it first time. Then I could not play but I remember I was so excited. My old sister can play it too and she is a good player. I wanted to be like her but it was difficult because her hight school club was very famous and strong, of course she practiced so hard everyday.

We have two alto saxophone in our house, they are our family's treasure. Do you know SELMER? It is one of the famous bland of saxophone. Many bland make saxophone and they has many kind of sounds, I love SELMER's saxophone. Sometimes I go to my hight school and play it with my friends.

Sleepy midnight

    I'm sleepy now, but I can not sleep now because I want to answer  my host sister's e-mail. She sent it about two weeks ago but then, I had to study for a license so I could not do that. Her e-mail has many question about Japanese culture, I have to answer right, isn't it? She said this question are material for her school project maybe she is waiting for me so I'm sorry for that.

Now, sleepy midnight. Only I'm here. I just hear a newspaper carrier sound. Can I sleep until 6 o'clock?
