MN's board games

During the trip, I did many board games, for example CATAN, Apples apples and Splash. My host brother, Sean likes these games. When I did Apples Apples with host family, I thought this game can do in Japan too and it is good way to learn language. My host family said that this game is popular in America, is it true? In the game, If I do without dictionary, it was difficult for me because if you do this game, you have to make like a sentence. My host mother use "Brad Pitt" with "Delicious", I can't forget it!

When we did CATAN, I won! yeah! However, my host sister taught me how to play it, so it was not real win. This game is like a "Life game", maybe young people can do it. We have to buy the material and make own town!

I did not only a board game but also rock climbing with Sean and Pat. They didn't think that I say "I want to do it!",  but I say so, we did it. First I had to learn basic knowledge with instructor. After that I could start to climb. Pat and Sean were good climber, I was surprised! It was hard to find the way that I can climb and this sports need muscular strength. I was tired soon but I tried many times. Some people went most difficult place, I and Sean just look that place. He said that someday he want to climb the place.

When we go back to home by car, Pat taught me Spanish. He could speak Spanish and I was learning Spanish in Japan. The time was good time, I felt that I became like  a real family. That time was valuable experience. The man who wear the green shirts is Pat, my host father. If you fall in floor, it's problem because the floor was made from rubber.

MN's First day

When I visit MN's airport, my host family waited me with big name card, I remember that. Then they were worried because they had never communicate with Japanese and I was nervous too. I walked with them and talked in English, I could understand their conversation but I couldn't tell them things that I wanted to tell. Then I felt frustration of English. But it was true, I was excited because I could meet my new family.

They said that they are hungry because they couldn't eat lunch so we went to SUBWAY. I knew that shops, the shop is famous in Japan too. They ate their lunch and they introduced about family. Honestly, then I didn't understand, which girl was Katie because both girls looked like same ages. The man who wear the rainbow T-shirt is my host father, Pat. He is so good father. You can see the window, just I take a picture. haha

Then I remember, the road, sky, building and everything looked something new for me. I couldn't believe that same earth, you know.

This picture is my room that I used. I heard that this room is Shannon's room but she lives dormitory now so I could use. Sometimes I could see the squirrel by the window, they are so cute. At night, I could see the light. The desk was small so I used to write a diary on the bed with music. I didn't want to forget about this trip, so I write every day. However, there were a lot of things,  it was hard. But I like long day, I enjoyed every day.

AIKY day.

December 26, I wanted to meet my friends. So I sent email to my friends. Luckily we could meet at Tamana. Ayaka lives alone in Kokai-bashi but she didn't have a part time job that day. First they came my house at Tamana, and talked, chatted and laughed. Next we went to Arao by Kana's car. We were hungry so we wanted someting to eat!! haha We decided to go Sui*cafe that is a local restaurant We ate the dinner course.

Then we ate pasta, omelet and rice, hamburg steak and doria. That was so delicious. After that we ate dessert. A strawberry parfait was served as dessert. Of course, good taste!
 After we ate everything, we went to shopping because we wanted to buy our original photo album before. So we went to Omuta, Fukuoka and bought an album which was blank. Took a Purikura that is one of the photo. We have a plan that decorate the album with our pictures. Is that great? Isn't it?

We go anywhere, Kana drives because she is a good driver. But I had a license last year, so I will drive, maybe. My friends say that you can do it but actually I will be nervous. Can I drive carefully and safety?

Someday, we are going to open that album, then we can see many picture and our memories. That is wonderful time. I can't wait that. I know that I'm happy because I met them. Thank you guys, and I love you forever.

W15 : My Favorite Time

     I like to chat with my friends. That time is important for me. Sometimes we talk about boys, home works and future but sometimes we talk about not important things. However that time is important things too. Most girls think communication is important to do everything, of course I think so too. In my part time job, we have to communicate to customer. If we do that, the customer will feel good. I don't want you to tell my part time job. My family lived in Fukuoka and Nagasaki, so we have many friends there. We used to visit there but recently we don't go there. Because we live in Tamana, Kumamoto about nine years so we feel that Tamana is our home town. We love Fukuoka's friends and Nagasaki's friend too. However, I want to meet local friends when I feel down. That is true.

My old sister and me.

 Most recently we had our nails done by manicurist. My old sister took me her favorite nail shop because I was going to go twenty ceremony. She said that it is unbelievable that I'm twenty years old. She talked about our earliest memories. When she was five years old, I was born. Our ages have five years away. We used to fight each other, and catch it. However when she started to live alone, I could get with her. I don't know why but I think she knew how great own house is. She often said that mother's dishes are great.

 Now she has a boy friend, he is good guy. My sister often talks about him and she looks so happy. I heard that he likes a coffee so I want to give the coffee beans that my part time job's. She will probably marry someday. Nobody knows, who will marry her. However, it is my dream to go shopping with her family and I want to talk about a lot of things with her at her and her husband's house. Maybe she don't know my dream. When I had nails done next to her, I thought that things. Of course, she don't know that too.

Apple pie shop

     In the speaking class, we made our Apple pie shop, name of Steave Jobs. Can you guess why?
The shop opens 9:00 am - 11:00am. Employers and Employees are 4 people, Yudai, Yuki, Hiroyo and me. The menus are 4 kind only. If you come there Sunday, you can buy Yudai's pie and you come Monday and Tuesday you can buy Hiroyo's pie. Wednesday and Thursday is my turn, and Friday is Yuki's day. You should go there, when you want to buy favorite pie.

     My special apple pie is made from herb pastry. This is original blend by me and they contain about five kind of herb with wheat. When you eat my apple pie, the smell makes you relaxed at first. These are produced by my field that we don’t use chemicals, so you don’t have to worry about health. This pie use special apple jam too. This jam is great because we choose sweetest apple in my country. Every year, we check the apple farm and consider using the apple. Secret ingredient is sweetest home-made honey. When we make the jam, pour the honey into apple as a base. This honey got a prize last year. We sell this honey and original jam at our shop, if you are interested in it, let’s check it. This apple pie is not too sweet, it is just for you.

When we talked about this topic, it was hard because this shop is not true. So sometimes there were difficult things. If you can guess that shop, we're so glad to meet you! haha

christmas!

     December 25, it was Xmas day! I spent with my friends. We went to KARAOKE and eating, drinking and eating! We can bring something to eat and drink to the shop so we bought Christmas cake. The cake was so big but we eat all. We sang many songs and danced. For example, J-pop and English and Korea songs! I have a friend who likes Korean star! The day was so cold but we were so excited and sweated. So, when we went out the KARAOKE, we were surprised the weather! My friend is going to go abroad to study English, I will feel sad. However I know that she want to go there and she likes English! Maybe she learn a lot of things there. Before she leave Japan, I want to make memory with her. It is good for us!

In the party sometimes we talk about home work in winter vacation and about twenty years old ceremony. I thought this winter vacation was very busy. Especially, this year has that ceremony so most girls had many plans for beauty. For example, hair color, nail and make up. The most important thing is KITSUKE. It means wearing the kimono. Some friend said that should wake up early, that's too bad! But it was true, everybody couldn't wait that ceremony. Everybody wanted to meet their old friends.

However, sometimes I feel funny because Japanese have many religions. Japanese may possibly don't have religion. I guess that.
